Any plans for a tour stop in the San Diego area? Also, do you still put people in books that make charity donations? If so how much of a contribution and to what charities?

Can’t wait for the next book!!!

Thanks,

Bruce

Hi John. I wanted to know when you will be in New Jersey for your book signing. Josh mentioned that it would be in January. I really look forward to meeting you.. I’m sure Justine and Josh told you what a fan I am of your books. You can write me on my website. I look forward to hearing from you. Don Caine

Can’t wait to attend the Poisoned Pen signing and get the new book! Damage was one of my favorite books.

I read everything I can find in the Suspense/Courtroom Thriller genre. I especially enjoy your work for a couple of reasons. One is location. More often than not, this type of story takes place in NY or LA. I live in Hayward and it’s so much fun to actually recognize places in your books. The other reason I like your stuff is you don’t try to force an ideology on us. By the looks of your picture, I bet we are close in age. (I’m 62) Even though I favor legalizing marijuana, I consider myself a conservative for the most part. Some writers such as Richard North Patterson, just to name one, have such a liberal bias I always have to read the storyline before I will buy his books. You, on the other hand, since it happens in SF, of course, state the liberalness of the City, but also give voice to the counterparts like Glitsky being against legalizing weed as opposed to Hardy being for it. You don’t ram either ideology down our throats and I appreciate that. Thanks for all you do and like Robert B. Parker did, keep writing until the good Lord stops you.

John, will do, don’t forget the Barrington IL stop! Chicago should be on your master trip list sometime. Be good, I will toast a good chard to you today on The Hunter and will get it also.

Your friend, John and young Charlie (remember Barrington Lions Club)>

John,

Thanks for including me in your contact list. Will definitely get a copy of The Hunter. I will also urge everybody in our writers and book clubs here at Sun City Lincoln Hills (Lincoln, CA) to order copies.

My first novel Legends of the Strait is still attracting readers — by the handful! So far, all the Amazon reader reviews are 5-star — all four of them! Anyay, I’m plowing ahead with a sequel about the Port Chicago explosion of 1944, if I live long enough!

I’d like to second Nancy Mullin’s comments about your non-partisan politics. That’s a real achievement for anybody writing anything in the Bay Area. I particularly enjoyed your novel about the “poverty pimps” in San Francisco. Wow! You were really taking some chances with that one!

Keep up the good work.

Hi John! I’m a big fan of yours–love your books. I first found you while on a cruise that was pretty boring. I spent a lot of time in the ship’s library and found three of your books there! Yea! Haven’t read Damages yet, but will do so soon, and also will get your newest book, The Hunter. We live in the Phoenix area, and hope to meet you in person on January 12. Please write more books!

Hi John,

I missed you last time you came to Florida a few years ago. We did arrange for you to leave me a signed book at the Circle Bookstore, which I thank you for doing. But, still waiting to meet you personally.

Chris

Hi Mr. Lescroart, I am on my way to Barnes Noble this very morning to pick up THE HUNTER. What a wonderful surprise to have one of your books waiting for me, can hardly wait, even if it’s not a Dismas/Abe story!!! Best wishes for tons and tons of success with this book. You know I much prefer snail mail, but I wanted to send you best wishes early on. Safe travels, susan

Are you going to be doing more local book signings when you come back to the Bay Area….. the week after school starts was much too busy for this teacher to be able to come see you.

Best.
